Limiting window size

Hi,

I am a newbie, just starting my own page for showing my quicktimes www.sapukay.net

I am using the spawn new window action, it is working fine but I want the new window that opens up to be 400x300 and fixed at that size.

I entered that of the size but when you preview the window in safari you can drag it to be bigger or smaller.

Is there a way to lock the window to that size?

Thanks,

Gualex

Did you check the box for “Scalable” or “Resizeable” (can’t remember which one it was)? If you did, have you tried to see if it’s a browser specific problem? I know Safari has a way of allowing forms to expand ever since 3 came out and I know Firefox 3 doesn’t do that, so you may have to get “code inserting” specific if it’s a browser specific issue.

Hi Dan:

Thanks for your reply. I have unchecked both Scalable and Resizable, I also tried checking them but it didn’t work either. I have noticed that Firefox doesn’t allow the window to be dragged while Safari does so I guess it’s an issue with Safari.

I wouldn’t even know where to begin coding I am coding illiterate, that’s why I chose freeway to do my site.

Thanks again,

Alex N.

Hi Alex

You might need to set some padding in the new window.

If the actual movie is 400x300 I’d set the new window at 410x310 and try that.

Also check the site on a PC as Internet Explorer might need even more than 5 pixels.

Kind regards RogerG
