Google Maps Action
hi there,
does anybody know how to add additional markers on a google map? i used the fw-action. it seems, that only one marker can be set in the map. on other pages i’ve seen maps with lots of markers … does the fw-action work with only one? … :-(
HI Cyclonist I haven’t used the Google map thing yet so I have no idea at present…..but you may want to repeat this question in the FreewayTalk section as this (ActionDev) tends to be read by far fewer people and then generally by people who are trying to develop actions. I am sure someone in the Normal part of the forum know the answer kind regards max

It looks like this is something that could be added to the Google Maps Marker Action. Right now, the Action complains if you place more than one instance of itself on the page, but if the author were to update that Action, it could become possible. I know that it’s possible within the Google Maps API (Application Programming Interface — the technical specification for the service) to have as many markers on the page at once as you like. Search for Pizza on the regular Google Map to see what I mean.

Actually and indeed I’d like to integrate a small Google-Map with serveral markers of local shops. That means the page I’m constructing right now … has to live w/o that feature as long as the action is updated. hm, wondering why the author did not consider this earlier ;-) Joerg
